A romantic drama should totally be set in a place called Loveland, Ohio, right? Better yet, in a castle known as Loveland Castle.
That's exactly where "Mercy," starring Ellen Page and Kate Mara, began filming Sept. 19, according to Page's Instagram account.

According to Variety, Page will play Lucy, "the daughter of a man on death row falling in love with Mara’s Mercy character, a woman on the opposing side of her family’s political cause."
Page, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her work in "Juno," posted a few photos from inside Château Laroche (or what us folks from around here call Loveland Castle).
Now a museum, Boy Scout troop leader Harry D. Andrews began construction on the castle along the Little Miami River in 1929.
As Page's caption indicates, it's said that Elvis Presley visited the castle several times and even offered to buy it from Andrews, a medievalist. He refused the offers, and when he died in 1981, he willed Château Laroche to his beloved Boy Scout troop, the Knights of the Golden Trail.

Killer Films is producing the work from director Tali Shalom Ezer. The company also produced Academy Award nominee "Carol," as well as "Goat," which debuted in 20 cities in the United States this Friday and on streaming services.

Variety also recently reported that Brian Geraghty, of "The Hurt Locker" and "Flight," has joined the cast.
